What is dioxane?

A volatile organic chemical present in groundwater contamination in the Ann Arbor Michigan area. This chemical was used in the manufacturing of medical filters at the former Gelman Sciences. This contamination has been described as one of the largest site of groundwater contamination east of the Mississippi.

to hydro geek, i don't want to post this, i am using it to contact you. i would like to post your comment on my blog, but i need you to make a small addition to it. otherwise i cannot post it. you said that 1,4 dioxane is an additive rather than a breakdown of tca. i need you to add that dce and vinyl chloride and ethylene are breakdowns of tce. if you don't add that to your statement then your statement will question the crediblitiy of those things i mentioned just now which i have in past blogs. it is important to me to post your correction, but i cannot do that if it causes other items of mine to lose their credibility. so i repeat if you will simply make a new post, which contains what you have said, but confirms also that tce does break down into dce, vinyl chloride and ethylene. then i can give you your post. i think that is reasonable. otherwise i will just have to research what you said and consider making a correction myself. but i would like to have your post.
